THANKING OUR ROOSTER VOLUNTEERS- FRANK PAOLA

Local sporting clubs live and die on the support of their wonderful band of Volunteers and we are no different, over the coming weeks we’d like to show our appreciation to some of our wonderful hard working Volunteers.

Definition….

1.a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking.

2.a person who performs a service willingly and without pay.

This week a grateful club pays homage to Frank Paola

If you don’t know Frankie, then where have you been ?
Saturday and Sundays our players turn up to grace the Hallowed turf and are faced with a ground set up and ready to go, Ever wondered how that happens ?

Those goal pads don’t just jump on the posts by themselves, Rooms need to be opened, sometimes cleaned, rubbish removed from the ground, Scoreboard opened up the list goes on, and more often than not its Frank first at the club getting it done. And then cleaning it up at the end of the day.

Frank is the team manager for the Reserves, often doubles up as the umpire escort as well, need something done at short notice, Frank are you free, Yes… what do you need, has the man ever said No?? Not often., if at All.

Frank never laced up the boots for the club, So why do everything he does? Easy he loves the place and the place loves him, Local Clubs live and die on the support of people like Frank who for nothing but the love of the club are always willing to pitch in and help out.

From a grateful club – Frankie we say Thank You.
