EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN AT THE HOME OF ROOSTERS!

The West Preston Lakeside Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Pywell as the reserves coach for 2019. Scott played with West back when Capt Cook was sailing the high seas and it’s great to have him back in the fold! Scott started at West in the Juniors, has played over 150 games for the club and was part of U18’s and Reserve premierships. He has spent a lot of time at Yarrambat in junior development roles and was an active member of the committee. More recently, he has coached the U19’s at Bundoora (7 years), been assistant coach to the seniors and part of the senior match day staff. Scott brings with him many years of experience across many levels of local footy and he will be a big part of our ongoing commitment to developing local talent. We look forward to him being part the 2019 senior coaching team.

The WPLFC is also pleased to announce the appointment of Ross Fairweather as the U19’s coach for 2019. Ross is also no stranger to Moore Park having played in the 1990s and coached in the junior ranks for several years. Ross has been a great supporter of West and the family ties continue, as his son is a current player at the club. It’s great to welcome him back on board and he will be a great addition to the coaching panel for 2019.
